These are fabulous, except vastly too large

"I’ve never gotten more compliments on a pair of jeans, the style of these is adorable. The downside is they are very large. I sized down after my initial purchase, however, the smaller size(6) quickly stretches out. After taking the tags off to wear, I realized too late they were still too large. For reference, I am 170 pounds, 5’7”, typically wear size 6 in your fabrics with more stretch and size 8 in the less stretch, heavier weight Jeans such as these. Size 6 are too big - they feel baggy and fat but are still super unique and adorable. Style can’t really be altered smaller."

Great quality, size runs big

"I love democracy jeans but sometimes the sizing is very inconsistent. I buy size 8 Dem. jeans and usually they fit but even after exchanging for size 6 these were still too big in the waist. Loved the detail in these tho! but I just returned them bc i was tired of the exchange game. They were also very long."

"While I adore most all of Democracy’s jeans, and I Love the style of this pair I must have received one who’s size was mis-marked. The size 8 was huge and I gave them to my daughter (10-12) she also loves Democracy and the fit her nicely. Not sure if I will order a 6. They seem to run big regardless!"

Very Cute, Stretchy, and Runs a Little Big

"I am between a size 10/12 or 31/32 and 5'4" 163 lbs and it's all in my butt and thighs. These arrived as adorable as pictured, but they were too big on me. I had to return them and am waiting on my size 10's to arrive. I recommend sizing down if you are between sizes or are finding your normal size a tad loose. Additionally if you are short like me they do drag the ground, but not by much. Definitely will be having the tailored as I love these so much and want to keep the bottoms from fraying. These are heavy denim, which means they are going to last you. 9/10 only because they are not true to size."
