"I absolutely LOVE these jeans with only one complaint. WHY ARE THE BACK POCKETS SEWN SHUT?! I'm obsessed with this brand of jeans and have been loyal since I found them. I honestly think the pocket flaps wouldn't have any issue if the pockets were fully functional and not sewn shut. Otherwise, these are fantastic jeans!"

"I bought two pairs of jeans and really love everything I’ve gotten here. They’re comfortable and fit well. However, this is the 2nd order now where the jeans have had a strong chemical smell that hasn’t faded yet after a few washes. It’s frustrating, because then I also smell weird wearing them."
"I love democracy jeans- I have many pairs in different styles and colors. I like the style of these jeans other than the fact that they have no back pockets (I tried to see if they are just sewn shut pre-purchase, but that doesn't seem to be the case) plus they have an extra flap of fabric over the fake pockets that easily bunches up and curls and looks terrible after washing. Will be sticking to other styles."

This is my first high rise jean from democracy. Lenght is good. Bell bottom/ wide leg need a bit of height from shoe. I’ve been a democracy jean gal for 8 years. I own straight leg, skinny, and Itty bitty boot cut."
