"I’ve been a Democracy fan for a few years now and these jeans just keep getting better. I can still wear the first ones I purchased, but the pockets are slowly improving. I always hate reading reviews and not knowing how they actually fit. So here’s my deets: I’m 5’2” and weight about 135. When I just want to be super comfortable, I wear a 10p, but if I want to have a snugger fit, I’ll wear an 8p. I frequently buy the regular sizes when they are “ankle length”. I just turned 60, so I have embraced that midlife extra 10 to 15 pounds and realize that it is a result of a life time of learning and loving and it’s a badge of honor."

"These jeans feel great and are very comfortable. The material is nice and stretchy, keeping its shape. The leg is great, but Petite is for 5’0 "or over. If you are under 5'0", you will need to wear heels or get them tailored. I would love an ankle-length option. The denim color is right in the middle of the road, so you can dress up or down. The higher waist was a good fit, too."
